Nutella Chocolate Cupcake


Ingredients (cupcake):
egg - 2
sugar - 100g
milk - 60g
self-raising flour - 130g
cocoa powder - 20g
melted butter - 60g

Ingredients (frosting):
icing sugar - 140g
cocoa powder - 30g
butter - 60g (room temperature)
milk - 30ml
nutella - 20g


Preparation:
1. Sift flour
2. Sift cocoa powder
3. melt butter
4. line up cupcake shell with paper cases



Method:
1. beat egg and sugar together, until creamy, slowly add in milk, mix well follow by flour and cocoa powder, mix well, fold in melted butter
2. Spoon the mixture into cupcake shell, 2/3 full & bake in preheated oven at 170c for 20mins
3. when cupcakes are cold, decorate with frosting. Decorate with chocolate chips if desire.

Frosting:
1. mix sifted icing sugar, sifted cocoa powder and butter until combined, mix at medium speed, slowly add in milk, beat until light & fluffy for 5mins.
2. the longer the frosting is beaten, the fluffier & lighter it becomes.
3. stir in nutella & mix well.
